DESCRIPTION: Every first Wednesday of the month the DAG-SiWi e.V. organize
 s the “Talking\nEnglish” meeting. It’s an informal gathering of peop
 le of all ages and from all walks\nof life interested in talking English i
 n a pleasantly open and informal circle. It’s open\nto everybody willing
  to practice (again) – or brush up on – his or her English. Maybe\nyou
  are a student in a secondary school or at university\, maybe you’ve liv
 ed in the\nUSA for some time and would like to meet people with similar in
 terests in topics\nrevolving around culture\, lifestyle\, politics\, and s
 ociety. Often it is about the USA or\nother English-speaking countries. Ho
 wever\, we have opened up the range of topics to\ninclude everything that 
 we are interested in talking about!\nEach evening has got a main topic\, w
 hich the moderator has roughly outlined and\nprepared for by means of text
 s or other media. However\, the dynamics of lively\ndiscussions will devel
 op through active participation of all members. On some nights\,\na native
  speaker or insightful returnees from the US are invited to convey the “
